Pinky Evangelista has been with the company since 2009 and is a great example of what we strive to represent. She is humble, smart, good at what she does, and committed to doing the best she can every day.
Pinky has run the accounting department pretty much since she arrived. She first became aware of the company through a job posting on Craig’s List©. And even though she started out as a part-time employee, the owners quickly realized she could do a lot more. They approached her almost immediately about adding an extra day and soon after about joining full-time. While she wanted to accept the offer, she had a two month-long trip planned to the Philippines to visit family and friends she hadn’t seen in a long time. The owners thought so highly of her that they didn’t bat an eye at the request and encouraged her to go on the trip but still wanted to hire her full-time once she returned.
From that modest beginning, Pinky helped spearhead the growth of the accounting department and has seen the company grow fourfold. She knows the company inside out as does everything from…
• setting up new customers in our systems
• making sure all billing and payroll is done on time and accurately, and
• supporting operations with supply contracts to make sure we have inventory on hand to support our customers
In many ways, she is the heartbeat of the company and without her many contributions, every department wouldn’t be able to do their jobs effectively. Yet, she is one of the most unassuming people you’ll ever meet.
Outside of PRO-TECH, Pinky enjoys reading, taking care of others, and giving back to her church. One of seven children, she has a very strong connection to her family and enjoys spending time with them and taking care of her elderly mother. Just like at work, she is constantly giving back and is the glue that holds everything together.
