One of the core principles at PRO-TECH is our Commitment to Quality. That focus starts with the owners and continues with Clarissa and her team. She is responsible for all quality audits, quality processes and education. She not only is adept at the technical aspects of the medical device business, including sterilization and laboratory testing, she is also great with customers.
Clarissa started with PRO-TECH in 2008, not long after graduating from UC Riverside with a degree in Biology. She began as a Lab Technician and moved her way up to Lab Supervisor and now Quality Manager for the whole company! Her team of scientists, engineers and technicians is responsible for quality assurance and control, laboratory services and validation testing.
Clarissa has pretty much grown up with the company and has a thorough understanding of the ins and outs of PRO-TECH’s capabilities. She is great at developing new people in a way that they appreciate the intricacies of our business and embody the “can-do” spirit we bring to every interaction with our customers. Customers often remark how knowledgeable and responsive she is and they appreciate the insights she and her team bring to Quality.
She likes working at PRO-TECH because of the never-ending opportunities to grow and develop and the emphasis on family. The personal relationships she has with her peers and teammates and the trust they have for each other is inspiring. And, since she started nearly 12 years ago, she has contributed to the company more than doubling in size!
