Adrian Barajas is our featured team member this month. He has a remarkable story and is a good example of the amazing employees we are proud to celebrate.
Let us start by highlighting the vital role that Adrian plays for PRO-TECH Design. He is a key member of our I/T team and does everything from answering questions like “why isn’t my computer working” to transitioning our network to the cloud. His range of talents and versatility are impressive, and he always handles a project or request with a positive attitude.
One of his most significant projects to date has been helping to lead the migration of our systems infrastructure to the cloud. It is a game-changer for the company and has provided a foundation for future capabilities as we continue to invest in digital technologies that make us more efficient and enable us to better serve our customers.
In addition to juggling his responsibilities at work and keeping our I/T systems up and running, he recently completed his bachelor’s degree at California State University, Fullerton and immediately began a master’s program in Science, Information and Technology.
And, if that wouldn’t keep a normal person busy enough, he also has a two-year-old daughter!
Adrian originally started his education to pursue a career in nursing. He was interested in a career in healthcare focused on taking care of people. Ultimately, he gravitated to information technology and found he was very good at it. At PRO-TECH he has been able to combine his skills in technology with his interest in healthcare. And he has found it extremely rewarding knowing that he is contributing to a company that provides an important service for the protection and safety of medical devices that help patients.
When not at work, or studying for his master’s degree, or chasing his daughter, Adrian likes to fish. He loves to spear fish as well as go deep sea fishing. Below the surface or above, fishing is his passion.
