Meet the members of our leadership team

PRO-TECH is a full-service FDA and ISO 13485 registered medical device contract packaging company. Founded in 1980 by our CEO, Pamela McMaster, PRO-TECH is a woman-owned business.

We’ve built the foundation of our company on Quality, Fair Pricing and Total Customer Satisfaction. We offer a broad range of capabilities centered around medical assembly and packaging, sterilization services, and sewn medical products.

AARON SWANSON - PRESIDENT PRO-TECH

AARON SWANSON - PRESIDENT

Aaron is currently President, having served previously as Vice President Operations and Director of Medical Products.

He founded and continues to oversee all aspects of Medical Device assembly, packaging and sterilization.

He previously served as the Microbiology and Chemistry Manager for a Medical Research Group where he oversaw biological aspects in the development of implantable glucose sensors and insulin pumps.

Aaron holds a BS in Biology from the University of Minnesota and an MS in Microbiology from California State University, Northridge. He has two patents in medical device sterilization and packaging.

PAMELA MCMASTER - CEO/FOUNDER PRO-TECH

PAMELA MCMASTER - CEO/FOUNDER

Pamela McMaster founded PRO-TECH in Southern California in 1980. She started the company in her family room, and it has evolved into a world-class medical device packaging company.

PRO-TECH reflects Pam’s primary business principles by providing unequaled service, high-quality products and services, attention to detail and fair pricing.

Before starting the company, Pam served the medical device community in Minneapolis and St. Paul. She worked hand-in-hand with designers, engineers and purchasing personnel to develop cost-effective packaging for her customers. She refined her skills while studying packaging engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Stout campus.

Pam is also a past President of the Minnesota Society of Packaging and Handling Engineers.

PRO-TECH Design Exec Vice President

JEFF SWANSON - VICE PRESIDENT, SALES

Jeff Swanson joined PRO-TECH in 1995. Jeff lives in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and oversees the Midwest region. He works closely with customers to develop medical device packaging solutions that meet their specific needs.

During his 20+ years at the company, Jeff started in the machine division before moving to medical device packaging, where his commitment to deliver for his customers is legendary.

He has extensive experience developing custom sewn medical products and packaging solutions both domestically and off-shore.

PRO-TECH Design Quality Assurance Manager

CLARISSA MURAOKA - DIRECTOR OF QUALITY ASSURANCE

Clarissa serves a critical role as the Director of Quality Assurance for PRO-TECH. She has
held leadership roles in validation development and laboratory services since joining the company in 2008.

She has been instrumental in growing the capabilities of our quality and laboratory services teams.

In addition to leading the Quality department, Clarissa has expertise in sterilization, labeling and packaging validations.

LARRY FRANS - GENERAL MANAGER, TX

Larry joined PRO-TECH in 2021 and is responsible for managing our Arlington, TX facility.  He oversees operations, personnel, facilities, and customer service.

Larry has worked in manufacturing operations for over 30 years and he has extensive experience leading complex production facilities for several industries. His depth of knowledge, leadership, and problem-solving ability have played a significant role in the growth and efficiency of the Arlington location since he joined the company.

He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology and an MBA from Brenau University. He looks forward to showing you around the Arlington campus any time.

PRO-TECH Design Quality Assurance Manager

BRIAN WILT – GENERAL MANAGER, MN

Brian is the General Manager at PRO-TECH’s St. Paul, Minnesota facility, and is responsible for managing that location. He was part of Surgical Technologies, Inc. before the company was acquired by PRO-TECH
in 2021.

During his 24-year career in medical device development and manufacturing, Brian has held several leadership positions with medical and dental companies, including Vice President of Electro-Mechanical R&D, Vice President of Innovation and Product Development, and as the Plant Manager of multiple sites.

Brian holds 12 U.S. Patents across a variety of industries and has a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BA in Journalism from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. He also graduated from the U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion program with a Masters-level degree in Nuclear Engineering.
